The Humphrey Fellowship Program is designed for experienced professionals who want to improve their leadership abilities by exchanging information and understanding about issues of shared concern in the United States and Fellows’ home countries.

The Fellowship, as a non-degree program, provides great chances for professional growth through chosen university courses, conference attendance, networking, and practical work experiences.

Throughout the year, Fellows pursue their particular program goals while also collaborating with their Humphrey colleagues in workshops and seminars. Unlike a conventional graduate school experience, the Program encourages Fellows to travel outside from their host college in order to learn more about American culture and network with American peers.

The Humphrey Fellowship is for you if you want to extend your horizons and become a global leader.

Nominations for Embassies and Commissions must be submitted to the Institute of International Education headquarters by October 1. The application deadlines differ per country.
